Description

On the eve of the first anniversary of Scotland's historic referendum and as the parliament prepares for new devolved powers, join us for an event bringing together academics and parliamentarians to discuss the future of stateless nations, regions and multi-level government. The event is hosted by Bruce Crawford MSP, convenor of the Devolution (Further Powers) committee. It will include a round table, featuring Professor Guy Laforest (Laval), Professor Thomas Lancaster (Emory University), Dr Marc Sanjaume Calvet (UQAM) and Prof Michael Keating (Centre on Constitutional Change). The roundtable will be followed by a wine reception and an opportunity to meet MSPs. A tour of the parliament building will also be available.

DUE TO LIMITED CAPACITY IN THE COMMITTEE ROOM, NUMBERS FOR THIS EVENT ARE RESTRICTED TO 50. WE KINDLY ASK THOSE ATTENDING THE CONFERENCE WHO ARE REGULAR VISITORS TO THE SCOTTISH PARLIAMENT TO GIVE FIRST PREFERENCE TO OTHERS.
